Max lost the toss again but led his troops into battle with renewed vigour. A good performance in the field saw Horris Hill kept to 93-9 in 20 overs. Max bowled his best spell of the term taking 4-7 in 4 excellent overs

In reply the usual early wickets were lost and crucially Max and Sandy were both dropped. However Max warmed up after a scratchy start and Sandy carried on the heroics of yesterday. Having mustered a mere 18 all term until last wednesday, he has blasted 91 in a week with an excellent 45 not out in this game. Has the penny finally dropped ?
