The Under 11 and Under 9 teams competed at King’s Hawford on a fast and relatively flat course.

The U11 boys team won their race with Harry H coming first closely followed by George B in second. James P and Toby C were both inside the top ten.
The U11 girls also all finished in the top ten with Kitty D winning another race. Elizabet A ran well and Katja C-S and Anna V both finished inside the top seven although they were a year young. The team were narrowly beaten into second place.
Freddie B won the U9 boys’ race with Sam Y, William A and George A running well. The team were third.

Elizabeth W, Alex W and Storm T finished fourth, fifth and sixth but sadly Eliza W had to pull up before the end so the team failed to record a score.
This is a good event especially for the Under 9 runners to gain valuable experience of competition.
