Abberley Relays X-Country Competition - Sunday 3rd February

Despite the extreme weather that had been hitting certain parts of the country, the conditions were cold and dry if a little muddy under foot. Thirty nine teams form twelve schools ran in the two races. Abberley Hall experienced a good deal of success this year winning the Under 13 Boys’ and Girls’ races and the Under 11 Girls’ race. The Under 11 Boys were second in their race.

Certificates are also given to the individuals who get the fastest lap times in their races. Kitty D and Harry H had the fastest lap times in the Under 11 Boys’ and Girls’ races. Annie T and Max C-S were second fastest in the Under 13 races with Max losing out to a Summerfield boy by only one second. Immy M also had the 3rd fastest lap time in the Under 13 Girls’ race following her record win in the Under 11 race last year.

The support and help given by the rest of the school was a credit to everyone, and there were numerous generous comments made form visiting parents and staff.
