Under 9 vMoor park 6 - 6


The Under Nines played their first match with great determination and displayed some good skills. Due to the cold weather we were in the sportshall and had strong support form parents. Despite recent illnesses we had a squad of 10 and Abberley started strong scoring 3 goals in the first quater. Alex, Eliza and Chloe worked very hard to win the ball but Moor Park were equally determined and the half time score was 4 - 3 to the visitors. Storm, Olivia and Charlotte marked their players well and there were some brilliant interceptions from Lili in defence. After 3/4s Moor Park were 6 - 4 up! However, Abberley kept their spirits high and fought back to draw 6 - 6! What an exciting first game - great shooting Chloe! Also well played Elizabeth, Freya and Frankie.
