1st XI vKing's Worcester 0 - 4

Outpaced, out-thought, out-muscled, out-skilled. We were very much second best to a good King’s team. Very little was created as, again, our passing, movement and touch was found wanting. King’s passed the ball crisply, had good touch and awareness. In truth they looked like footballers who understand the game. It would have been enjoyable for the neutral, I am sure. King’s were better.

We need practice sessions desperately to rebuild confidence and remind ourselves how to play. However, we are in action again straight away. Let us hope we are shaken from lethargy and put on a determined performance against Malvern Prep.
