Having scored three tries in the first half we made heavy work of the task in the second half. Good work from the forwards set up try scoring possibilities close to the oppositions line but our finishing lacked bite and King's defence improved and only allowed one more try before the close.

Colts A V RGS The Grange 21 - 7

A hard fought contest saw RGS having most of the early play and scoring a well worked try down the flank. Another try seemed likely but our defence held. Before half time parity was restored with a series of short runs in the oppositions 22 and a score in the corner. Conditions suited us in the second half but the opposition fought hard to restrict us to two further tries.

Colts B v RGS The Grange (away) 15-7

Colts B recorded a very impressive second victory in a row today, away at The Grange.The 2 sides were very evenly matched and on a large pitch both sides fought hard for possesion. Abberley were first draw blood and with some good pressure from the line out, a ruck formed over the try line and with quick possesion Freddie scooted over. It was almost an exact replay of the first try, that led to the second. This time the forwards again rucked fantastically well with great power from Morgan and Rory, with quick ball Nick dived over. After half time we appeared to go to sleep a bit and the Grange put up stiff resistance and showed good awareness with their passing to score in the corner. Abberley fought hard and managed to spend large amounts of the second half in enemy territory. Rory .F. , again put in a very heroic performance, despite injury and earned himself a well deserved try near the end. This team is slowly galvanising together and really working hard for each other.
