A Day in the Life of a 'New Bug'
The mellow autumn weather has meant that the new children have been able to take full advantage of all that the grounds have to offer. As far as they are concerned, making dens, finding conkers and climbing trees assume equal importance to lessons. Everybody has settled in well - the children from the Pre-prep have been so welcoming to the new children. They have been on a visit to the Sea Life Centre. On the sports field the boys are preparing for a six-a-side tournament with Prestfields on the 4th October. The girls' first match is on the 11th October.
"all good friends and jolly good company" "dry stone walls make a sound den!" "Who says girls don't make great commandos?"

"There are plenty of games in the Palace, even allowing Mrs D a little time to relax!" "At 1.30 pm everyone has a twenty minute rest with a good book. This is particularly enjoyable after a trip to the tuck shop!" "100% concentration needed when working in the DT workshop"

"I'll get by with a little help from my friend!" "Who has the funniest looking wellies?" "Time to snuggle up with a good book."
