On Thursday and Friday pupils from the school will be visiting the Hay Festival

Weather permitting the programme of events should be as follows:

Thiursday 31st May - all 100's

11.00 Amazing Authors: Anne Fine, Geraldine McCaughrean and Michael Morpurgo talke about great books and exceptional authors, classic and contemporary.

1.00 pm Harry Hill: Stand up comedian-cum-children's author. Should be funny!

2.30 pm Stage Fight Workshop with the RSC - 100k only. Ed et al take on the Royal Shakespeare Company!

2.30 pm Gerealdine MacCaughrean and Philip Reave. Two brilliant authors in conversation.

4.00 pm Michael Morpurgo

5.30 pm Urban Strides: UK's No. 1 hip hop dance crew, flip, headspin and body pop their way through 30 minutes of exhilarating break dancing.

Leave Hay 6.15 - RETURN ABBERLEY 7.30 - 7.45 PM

Friday 1st June

10.00 - Dan Freeman - with footwork from the players of Hereford United. What it is really like to tour with the England team. Fantastic footballing fiction.

11.30 - Helen Dunmore and Cat Weatherill - Myth and magic, mermaids and Kraken legends.
