The weather was kind after the downpour the previous week but a lack of wind was not ideal for the 32 children in Tewkesbury doing watersports. However they had a lot of tiring fun splashing around in the lake.

A smaller group ventured to Donington Park to see GP Live. We watched with hands over our ears at times as classic formula one cars of yesteryear flew past. The highlight was the pit access and the chance to sit in a Minardi whilst a stunt driver performed spins on the finishing straight of the track. We walked for miles to find different vantage points in the infield before we refuelled and added to our spare tyres at Mcdonalds on the way back to school.
