Optional Weekend 29/04 - Drayton Manor Park

The first optional of the Summer Term saw 64 children staying in. Most went on the annual pilgrimmage to Drayton Manor where once again there was something for everyone and I stupidly sat at the back on Stormforce 10 ! I was totally drenched once again.

The children charged around making the most of the sparse morning queues and an exhilirating time was had by all.
A small group went to Worcester to watch the 50 over match at New Road. Mr.Kennedy returned with tales of taking a diving catch during the lunch interval and has the grazes to prove it !

Mr.Abbott did his regular camping trip to Biblins but this time took bikes rather than kayaks. The result was a few more bruises than normal but the same happy if rather exhausted children at the end.

The sun shone eventually and the children once again were impeccable making it another enjoyable weekend.
