Lunchtime Concert - Friday 19th January

Today, a large and appreciative audience listened attentively to eighteen pupils play a wide variety of music at the first of our Lunchtime Concerts this term.

Pianists today were Teya, Oliver, Melissa, Richard & Edward (Pre Prep) and they played pieces by Aaron, Mercer, Bullard, Rose and Waterman

Alison, Chloe, Freya, Henry and Olivia played the famous Canon by Tallis on five cellos.

Pablo played the Prelude in A minor on the Guitar and Peregrine played a Siciliana on the viola. Andrew finished the concert with the Rondeau from Abdelazar on the violin.

From the Brass section, Freddie made our feet tap with Tuxedo Junction whilst Adam, Alastair and Simon began the concert with a German Waltz.

This was a most enjoyable concert with memorable performances by all pupils. The next Lunchtime Concert is on Friday 9th February at 1.30p.m. and all are welcome.
