The Shells had a fabulous day out to Cardiff on Tuesday. We went on the Cardiff Road Train first, with Carol giving us a very informative commentary as we meandered through Cardiff to the docks and the Barrage. We were lucky enough to see the bridge and lock operating to allow a Life Boat out to sea.

At Techniquest, after our picnic lunch, we had the opportunity to "play" on all the exhibits as well as a lesson on "The secret life of plants" in the lab. It was an action packed and fun day for all - and the sun shone too!
