Our third Lunchtime Concert of this term featured ten performers, all of whom gave us a wonderful concert and sang and played to a very high standard and to a large and appreciative audience on this damp and changeable Friday.

The performers and their pieces were as follows :

Andrew S played ‘Jazz Exercise No 2’ by Peterson on the piano

Georgia H played ‘Down in the valley’ on the piano

Rosalind D played ‘Blow, blow thou winter wind’ by Arne on the ‘cello

Edward R played ‘Mozzie’ by Milne on the piano

Robert P sang ‘Westering Home’

William B played the ‘Chimes’ on the piano

Rosalind D, Olivia S and Richard S played ‘March of the Priests’ by Mozart as a ‘cello trio

Anthony W completed the concert by playing from memory ‘Nautica Fantasy’ by
J. Hisaishi on the piano.

The Grand Summer Concert on Friday 5th June at 11:30am
