Lunchtime Concert - Friday 24th April
 

Our first Lunchtime Concert of this term was a real gem with eleven performers who all sang and played to an incredibly high standard and to a large and appreciative audience.

The pianists and their pieces were as follows:-

Patrick D played ‘Tuxedo Junction’ by Hawkins
William C played ‘Jungle drums’ by Haughton
Amelia C played ‘A song of Erin by Dunhill
Freddie P played ‘Valse lente’ by Vaughan Williams and
Gabriel L played ‘Study in F’ by Loeschhorn

The singers and their pieces were as follows:-

Isla C sang ‘All through the night’
Tertia R sang ‘Pokanekare Ana’
Olivia S sang ‘The Sunflower’ and
Nat R sang AND played his arrangement of ‘House of the rising sun’

Katja C-S accompanied by Matilda B-S completed the concert by playing ‘Teddy Bears’ picnic’ by Bratton .

 

The next lunchtime concert is on Monday 4th May at 1:30pm and will be dedicated to a Musical Theatre programme.
