Lunchtime Concert - Friday 30th May


Our third Lunchtime Concert of this term featured twelve performers all of whom gave us a wonderful concert and sang and played to an incredibly high standard and to a large and appreciative audience.

The performers and their pieces were as follows :

Daniel G played ‘Allegro’ by Mozart on the piano

Freya W played ‘Hungarian Stomp’ by Wedgwood on the ‘cello

Eliza W played ‘Antics’ by Wedgwood on the piano

Patrick D played ‘Bobby Shaftoe’ on the piano

Isla C played ‘Clockwork soldiers’ by Rose on the violin

Connie A-J played the ‘Balletto’ by Lohein on the piano

Wulstan N played ‘Polka’ by Rose on the ‘cello

Gerald R played the ‘Hornpipe’ by Purcell on the piano

Storm T played ‘Little Reverie’ by Carse on the ‘cello

Harriet W played ‘Mission Impossible’ by Wedgwood on the piano

Chloe U sang ‘Santa Lucia’ in Italian and English

Freya W played ‘The Cuckoo and the Nightingale’ by Krug on the piano

and

Richard S completed the concert by playing ‘Air’ by le Fleming on the ‘cello

The Grand Summer Concert is next Friday at 11:30am

The next Lunchtime Musical Theatre Concert is on Friday 27th June

The Gala Concert is on Saturday 28th June at 7:30pm
