Lunchtime Concert - Friday 16th May


Our second Lunchtime Concert of this term featured eleven individual performers and all of Rem C, all of whom sang and played to an incredibly high standard and to a large and appreciative audience.

The performers and their pieces were as follows :

Joon SB played ‘Spring’from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi on the ‘cello

Elizabeth W played an ‘Old French Song’ arranged by Waterman/Harewood

Lydia W played ‘A mio babbino caro’ by Puccini on the violin

Thomas W played ‘Saturday Stroll’ by Blackwell on the piano

Frankie S played ‘Can Can’ by Offenbach on the flute

Tabitha B played the ‘Skater’ by Thompson on the piano

Isla C sang ‘Cock-eyed optimist’ by Rogers & Hammerstein

Melissa D played the ‘Allegro in C’ by Haydn on the piano

Olivia C sang ‘Stay awake’ by Sherman & Sherman

Rosalind D played ‘Italian Rant’ on the ‘cello

Lydia W played the ‘Petits bateaux sur l’eau’ by Sandre on the piano

and all of

Rem C completed the concert by singing ‘The Gas Man cometh’ by Flanders & Swan

The next lunchtime concert is on Friday 30th May at 1:30pm and we look forward to seeing you.
