In our third Lunchtime Concert of this term we heard eleven performers all of whom sang and played to a high standard and to a large and appreciative audience.
The performers and their pieces were as follows :
Jamie S played ‘The Drunken Sailor’ arranged by Paul Harris on the clarinet
Frankie S played ‘Greensleeves’ on the flute
Cecilia B-S played ‘Boating Lake’ by Alan Bullard on the piano
Jorge C played ‘For Spain’ his own composition, on the drum kit
James R sang ‘Mr Cellophane’ by Kander & Webb
Henrietta H-H played ‘Square Dance’ by Alan Bullard on the flute
George M played ‘Greensleeves’ on the saxophone
Matilda B-S played ‘Jackson Street Blues’ by Mier on the piano
Rupert K played ‘An Old Dance’ by Kabalevsky on the clarinet
Richard S played ‘Nocturne’ by Borodin on the ‘cello and
Georgie L completed the concert by singing ‘My favorite things’ by Rogers & Hammerstein
The next lunchtime concert is on Friday 7th March at 1:30pm and will be a Music Theatre Concert.
