Our second Lunchtime Concert of this term was a great way to start the month of February. Although there was an incredibly chilly wind outside (and perhaps snow on the way), our eight performers braved the elements and performed well to an appreciative audience.

The performers and their pieces were as follows :-

We started with three Pianists

Polly W played ‘Skedalle’ by E. Milne

Annabel M played ‘Shepherd on the hill’ by M. Rose and

Gabriel L made her second appearance this term (on a different instrument) and
played ‘Boureé’ by Leopold Mozart

Bethany O then sang ‘I dreamed a dream’ from Les Mis

Olivia S played the ‘Half a minute waltz’ on the piano (but it only lasted 22 seconds!)

Polly W came back to the stage to play ‘Tango’ by H. Burgoyne on the violin

Teya D then played ‘Andante’ by H. F. Enchausen on the piano and

Alastair W (also making his second appearance this term but on a different instrument) completed the concert by playing ‘Air’ by G. P. Telemann on the trumpet.

The next lunchtime concert is on Friday 22nd February at 1:30pm and we look forward to seeing you.
