Our first Lunchtime Concert of this term was a real gem with nine performers who all sang and played to an incredibly high standard and to a large and appreciative audience.

The performers and their pieces were as follows :

Katja C-S played ‘Scapino (from ‘Clowns)’ by Paul Harris on the flute

The String Trio (Andrew S, Daniel G & Richard S) played ‘Trumpet tune’ by Purcell

Chloe U sang ‘Bessie the Black Cat’ by Pamela Wedgwood

Olivia B played ‘Cat Walk’ by Pamela Wedgwood on the flute

Rory F played ‘Give me joy in your heart’ on the piano the Trumpet

Daniel G played the ‘Russian Fantasie no. 1’ by Ivan Portnoff on the violin

Gabriel L played ‘Andante semplice’ by Graham Lyons on the flute

Alastair W completed the concert by playing ‘Humoresque’ by Antonin Dvorak on the glockenspiel

The next lunchtime concert is on Friday 1st February at 1:30pm and we look forward to seeing you.
