You are warmly invited to attend our annual Remembrance Day Service on Sunday 11th November at 10:30am.
The hymns will be the traditional hymns for Remembrance, ‘O God, our help in ages past’, ‘Lord, for the years your love has kept and guided’, ‘Lord of all hopefulness’, ‘Thine be the glory’ and The National Anthem. During the service there will be readings to mark this special time of year and we will, of course, observe two minutes silence at 11:00 o’clock.
The Chapel Choir will sing Psalm 27 verses 1-6, ‘God be in my head’ by Malcolm Archer and ‘Lux Aeterna’ from the Requiem by John Rutter.
Our preacher will be the Mr Martin Humphreys of Shrewsbury School.
Coffee will be served in the Front Hall after the Service.
This is always a popular service to come to, so please arrive early to ensure a seat.
We look forward to seeing you!
