| The third Lunchtime Concert this term had seventeen performers who all played really well to a large and appreciative audience.
The performers and their pieces were as follows :
The Percussion Ensemble played ‘Abbey Bash’ on the drums
Olivia played ‘Arabian Air’ on the piano
Lydia played ‘Andante’ from Six Easy Pieces by Sir Edward Elgar
Henry played ‘Branle des Sabots’ on the ‘cello
Xenia played ‘In the Pink’ by Chapple
Sarah played ‘Ode to joy’ by Beethoven on the violin
Freya played ‘Square dance’ by Alan Bullard
William played ‘O Jamima’ on the drum kit with CD accompaniment
Peregrine played ‘Mazurka’ by Sagreras on the viola
Oliver played ‘Blue Funk’ on the saxophone with CD accompaniment
and
The String Trio played ‘Donkey Trot’ by Nelson
The next lunchtime concert (which will have a Christmas theme) is on Friday 8th December at 1:30pm and we look forward to seeing you. |
