Rua Fiola 2006
This year’s visits by two groups to the uninhabited Islands of Rua Fiola were once again a huge success. The one week courses are jam packed with adventurous sporting activities combined with a survival challenge. The ‘Robinson Crusoe’ survival challenge is one of the most exciting parts of the week for everyone because this means a night without any adults. To survive they need to find shelter in a cave or make a bivouac, make a driftwood fire, find water to drink and wild foods to eat. This is all taught during the weeks activities with a practice expedition to an Island at the start of the week.
