This morning we celebrated our Harvest Festival with a slightly extended Chapel Service.
The School sang the two popular Harvest hymns ‘Praise, O Praise’ and ‘We plough the fields’ with a good amount of gusto.
The Choir sang Maurice Greene’s delicate setting of ‘Thou visitest the earth’ with style and Abi and Peregrine read the lesson from the beginning of Genesis with clarity and understanding.
It was a fitting and joyful celebration, especially as our surroundings are so rural.
