Start of a New Year
Boarders returned on Sunday afternoon full of energy. Trunks were soon unpacked and students settled into their new dormitories, catching up with all their friends’ news. Day children and new pupils arrived on Monday morning to join the boarders for a full and busy term ahead.
	During the school holidays there has been the normal refurbishment programme. This year this focused on redecorating the rooms released by the relocation to classrooms within the new Science block. The two old science laboratories have been transformed into a spacious new Library and a dedicated ceramics room. Several classrooms have been redecorated and the number of study rooms has been increased enabling all students in the top year to have their own private workstation. As the new teaching areas were completed four more interactive white boards have been installed bringing the total within the school to nine.
