Art - Project Work

We look at aspects of Pop Art in the Top Year and pupils produce a self portrait from carefully cut stencils.	The Removes learn about Heraldry and complete their designs in repeat pattern with lino prints.

Form 1 study Impressionist artists and look at light effects and reflections as well as developing their painting skills.	The Removes learn about Aboriginal culture which provides the stimulus for a glazed slab pot with dot decoration.

As the Art and DT areas work in tandem, we can use the facilities in both areas to enhance our work in two and three dimensions.	Enamelling is a popular free time activity and students enjoy making presents for friends and family
